Three products from Merz Aesthetics’ industry-leading portfolio of medical aesthetic treatments have been named winners in the 2022 NewBeauty Awards.

“Fueling confidence is at the core of our business,” says Patrick Urban, President, Merz Aesthetics, North America. “Today’s medical aesthetic patient seeks a connection between their self-care routine and inner authenticity. This designation of ‘best-in-class’ by NewBeauty highlights products within our vast portfolio that can help patients achieve those goals and further reinforces Merz Aesthetics’ long-standing mission to help people look better, feel better and live better.”

Winners of the NewBeauty awards were selected by a panel of 18 leading plastic surgeons, dermatologists and beauty experts. They confirm that the winning products and services deliver on the claims they make, offer real solutions for the most important needs in aesthetics and have been subject to in-depth testing.

Ultherapy® won the award for “Best Nonsurgical Skin Tightener.” Described by the NewBeauty judges as the “gold standard of ultrasonic therapy in skin care.” Ultherapy is the first and only, non-invasive ultrasound treatment FDA-cleared for lifting of skin on the neck, chin and brow and improving lines and wrinkles on the décolletage with real-time visualization.

Additionally, Radiesse® was named by the panel of judges as the “Best Filler For Hand Rejuvenation.” According to NewBeauty editors, “A good hand cream can restore moisture, but when it comes to volume loss, fillers are the way to go. Our favorite? Radiesse, which makes veins and crepiness less visible while boosting collagen over time.” Radiesse is the first calcium hydroxylapatite injectable treatment available in the US. Radiesse is used for correcting volume loss in the back of the hands. Radiesse and Radiesse (+) are dermal fillers that are also used for smoothing moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth).

Finally, Neocutis® Lumière® Firm won the award for “Best Post-Procedure Eye Cream.” The judges were impressed with results from the growth factor–infused peptides in Neocutis Lumière Firm Illuminating & Tightening Eye Cream, noting that it can be counted on “to soothe delicate skin while doubling down on the line-smoothing results of in-office treatments like lasers and fillers.”

NewBeauty is a trusted resource for the most affluent and influential beauty consumer. The magazine dives deep to provide valuable information, founded in research and vetted by experts, empowering people to make better beauty decisions.
