Mr. Urban leads the North America region in strategy and operations for Merz Aesthetics.

Mr. Urban is committed to driving commercial success by taking ownership of the customer experience and leading the aesthetics team to deliver trusted results. He is a visionary leader and with more than 20 years of experience in operations and sales planning strategic campaigns, closing major accounts, mentoring personnel to greater productivity, targeting market segments, and optimizing procedures.

Prior to joining Merz in July 2016, Mr. Urban spent seven years at Ulthera, where he held the roles as Eastern Regional Sales Director, Director of National Sales, and Vice President of U.S. Sales. As the Vice President of U.S. Sales for Ulthera, Mr. Urban managed six regional sales directors and a national practice manager, overseeing all aspects of the sales division of Ulthera.

Prior to his career with Ulthera, Mr. Urban served as a National Sales Manager for LifeSync Corporation. In this role, he helped build and launch a market for the LifeSync Wireless ECG System in the U.S. Most recently, he served Merz as Chief Commercial Officer for Merz North America.

Mr. Urban holds a bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree from Loyola.

Ms. Sine leads finance and commercial analytics for Merz Aesthetics North America.

Ms. Sine joined Merz in 2005 and has held various finance roles of increasing responsibility within the Merz organization, including tax, financial reporting and business partner before being appointed CFO for Merz Aesthetics for the region in 2018. Prior to joining Merz, she served as Senior Accountant for Lowes Foods Stores and was an auditor for Ernst & Young.

Ms. Sine earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro and is a certified public accountant (CPA) in the state of North Carolina.

As Merz Aesthetics North America General Counsel, Mr. Barry heads up the region’s legal and compliance team.

Joe is a native of New York City and began his legal career at the Shea & Gould law firm in Manhattan, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and general corporate work. After a six-year stint Joe went in-house and held positions of increased responsibility at Ogden Entertainment in New York City, Diageo in Norwalk CT and Medicis Pharmaceuticals in Scottsdale AZ before joining Merz in 2013. Joe has expertise in product launches, commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, human resources, intellectual property, regulatory, compliance, corporate governance, litigation and supply chain/manufacturing.

Joe received his Juris Doctor degree from the St. John’s University School of Law in Queens, New York, and a bachelors’ degrees in History from Fordham University in Bronx, New York.

Mr. Casas is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Merz Aesthetics marketing efforts in the United States.

Prior to joining Merz, Roberto held marketing roles throughout Europe and North America for Schering-Plough (now Merck), Ethicon and Mentor WW LLC (part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies). His experience has given him deep industry knowledge and is coupled with unique expertise in interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills honed through increased responsibilities during his career on three continents. Roberto is also fluent in English, Spanish, and Swedish.

Mr. Casas holds the title of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from La Salle University in Bogota, Colombia and has a degree in Marketing and Finance from the IHM Business School in Stockholm. He also studied Latin American Social Studies at the University of Stockholm.

Ms. Lobell currently leads CORE Services for North America. As part of CORE Services, she is responsible for the following departments: communications, human resources, incentive compensation, sales enablement, and internal meetings and events. Ms. Lobell is committed to the success of people throughout the organization by delivering a superior employee experience.

Prior to joining Merz Aesthetics in February 2018, Ms. Lobell spent her career in the hospitality industry where she has over 20 years of experience in restaurant management operations and human resources. Previously with Au Bon Pain, she held several roles including Director of Talent Acquisition, Regional Human Resources Director and Director of Field Human Resources. She also spent sixteen years with Darden Restaurants holding many positions during her time there. Most recently, she served as Director, Human Resources, Merz North America.

Ms. Lobell holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the State University of New York, College at Fredonia.

Dr. Romero leads scientific and clinical strategy and execution, medical education and the field-based clinical and scientific teams for both the USA and Canada.

Diana and her teams are passionate medical and scientific expert resources who provide the most relevant, up to date, contextualized, and fair balanced information to meet the unique needs of each customer and their patients. She is an experienced industry executive with over 16 years of Medical Aesthetics experience. She was one of the first field-based scientists in the U.S. supporting the approval of the first neurotoxin for cosmetic use and has played a pivotal role in the approval and launch of new products and aesthetic companies. Her teams currently serve as a bridge between HCPs and key functional areas, overseeing an engagement plan to generate, translate, and communicate clinical and scientific data. Throughout her career, she has been the recipient of numerous Awards of Excellence and was involved in developing models of operational excellence for field-based medical teams. Prior to entering the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Romero was the recipient of two NIH grants as Primary Investigator and has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles for which she was recognized with several professional awards.

Diana received her undergraduate degree from UCLA, Master’s degrees from CSULB in both Sports Psychology and Exercise Physiology and holds a PhD in Motor Control through the Department of Kinesiology at Arizona State University. Her research examined the effects of aging on how the brain controls and coordinates the motor and visual systems in fine motor movements.

Mr. Oldelehr leads the North America West Area Sales team for Merz Aesthetics.

Mr. Oldelehr is a dynamic sales executive with a proven track record of sales excellence, start-up and turnaround success. He is a strategic thinker with broad experience spanning healthcare, technology, entertainment and financial services. He has a strong track record of building high performing teams.

Prior to joining Merz in Jan. 2018, Mr. Oldelehr spent more than two years as the General Manager for Patterson Dental, a leader in the dental and veterinary space. Mr. Oldelehr was able to quickly turnaround an under-performing branch into one of the top in the nation. Mr. Oldelehr also spent nine years with Ethicon Women’s Health, a Johnson and Johnson company, where he started as a territory representative ultimately leading a team of sales representatives as the Pacific Northwest Regional Manager. Mr. Oldelehr also ventured into entrepreneurship, owning his own consulting company, automobile dealership, Financial services start up and VP of sales for a Healthcare IT startup.

Mr. Oldelehr holds a bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Missouri Columbia along with multiple hours of advanced education through the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

Mrs. Jones leads the North America East Area Sales team for Merz Aesthetics.

Mrs. Jones is committed to creating a winning culture to drive commercial success. She has a proven track record of sales excellence, start-up and turnaround success, and has a strong track record of building high performing teams in the aesthetic industry.

Prior to joining Merz in July 2016, Mrs. Jones spent two years at Ulthera as Northeast Regional Director where she gained extensive experience managing and selling into both large and small enterprises. Mrs. Jones served as Sales manager, Field Development with Myoscience and served in several sales roles with Solta Medical, Allergan, Solstice Neuroscience and Genentech.

Mrs. Jones holds a bachelor’s degree from the Michigan State University along with multiple hours of advanced education through the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

Mr. Rafferty leads the compliance function within the Legal Department for North America. He is a veteran of the life sciences industry with more than 22 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and the medical device space. He has worked the for the last 10 years at Merz in various leadership roles within both the Therapeutic and Aesthetic businesses.

Prior to joining Merz in January 2013, Mr. Rafferty spent twelve years at Galderma Laboratories, where he held several commercial roles & sales management positions in both their pharmaceutical and aesthetics divisions. Prior to that, Mr. Rafferty worked within the marketing group at Sunoco in New York.

Mr. Rafferty received his bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, and his Juris Doctor Degree from Delaware Law School – Widener University.

After attaining his JD degree, he also completed the Healthcare Compliance Program at Seton Hall School of Law in 2016.

Mr. Werlinger leads the North America region in supply chain and distribution for Merz Aesthetics.

Mr. Werlinger is committed to communication, collaboration and delivering trusted results in the most challenging of supply chain environments. He is a multi-disciplined leader with more than 27 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, program management, research & development, commercial and supply chain all in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. He is an entrepreneurial, innovative leader focused on establishing strong partnerships along the entire Supply Chain Network built on a core foundation of process, people and technology. Prior to joining Merz, Mr. Werlinger spent eight years at Abbott Laboratories and eight Years at Hospira Inc. in various roles of increasing complexity and leadership.

Mr Werlinger holds a degree from University Wisconsin – LaCrosse and certifications in Supply Chain and Project Management. In his free time, he enjoys spending it with his wonderful wife, Amy, son Lowell (17) , and daughter Lauren (15). He loves sports, music, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Herring is the regulatory representative on the North American Leadership Team, providing essential regulatory insight on the strategy and operations of Merz Aesthetics. Mr. Herring also leads the Global Regulatory Advertising and Promotion team for Merz Aesthetics.

Mr. Herring’s career in pharmaceuticals and medical devices over the past 16 years includes roles in generic product development, regulatory affairs, field clinical education, and population health management. He is a licensed registered nurse and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Concordia University.

Mr. Herring is also a military veteran having served eight years on active duty in both enlisted and officer roles. This included serving on a Special Medical Response Team for chemical and biological terrorism as well as assisting in the Pentagon’s rescue and recovery operations after 9/11. He was honorably discharged from the Army Nurse Corps at the rank of Captain.

Mr. Serhan leads North America’s Corporate Accounts Team and supports Merz Aesthetics with strategic partnerships, distributors and evaluates special projects.

Anthony brings 23 years of sales and sales leadership experience in the MedTech and pharmaceutical industry to the Merz Aesthetics leadership team. Prior to joining Merz through the Ultherapy acquisition, Anthony spent 10 years with Takeda pharmaceuticals leading sales teams and building training programs. He later went on to launch numerous injectable products with Medicis Aesthetics.

In 2016, Anthony took on the role of Director of Sales for Obalon Therapeutics where he contributed to the buildout of the commercial team and successful launch of a first in class weight loss device. In 2018 Anthony came back to Merz in and has supported North America in numerous strategic roles.

Anthony holds a bachelor’s degree from College of the Holy Cross.

Ms. Gildea leads customer success and commercial digital operations for Merz Aesthetics North America.

Since joining Merz in 2015, Ms. Gildea has enjoyed various roles of increasing responsibility within the Merz organization. She is focused on building and leading high-performing teams, developing processes, commercial operations infrastructure and capabilities. She has more than 20 years of experience in sales, sales leadership, market research and commercial operations. Beth is committed to operational efficiency and optimizing the customer success journey within the organization.

Prior to 2015, Ms. Gildea spent 13 years in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry, including 10 years with Salix Pharmaceuticals and three years with Ferndale Laboratories. In addition, she spent time in finance as a Financial Consultant with A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. As a result, Ms. Gildea leveraged her experience in sales, sales leadership and market research in her continuous professional growth at Merz. She has always been a results-driven professional with a documented record of building successful teams and exceeding goals while quickly achieving profitability.

Ms. Gildea holds a bachelor’s of science degree from West Virginia University.

Mr. Van Dyk leads the commercial strategy and corporate operations at the Canadian affiliate, Merz Aesthetics Canada.

Mr. Van Dyk is committed to focusing the organization on growth by unleashing the power of its people to fulfill customer desire to look better, feel better and live better.

As an engaged leader, Mr. Van Dyk believes commercial success follows the commitment to grow customer satisfaction by leading the aesthetics team to deliver outcomes that can be trusted. With over 20-years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, he produced a solid record of consistent results that confirms his belief in the vital bond between customer and team.

Prior to joining Merz Aesthetics in 2022, Mr. Van Dyk built an accumulation of experience at several multinational organizations including Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, Alcon, and others. These experiences led to the kind of leadership that brings out the best in people and inspires them to succeed in producing favorable commercial outcomes.

Mr. Van Dyk earned degrees in Kinesiology and Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick.

Ms. Waller joined Merz in July 2015 as Senior Director of Business Applications. She is responsible for providing innovative technology solutions to help streamline processes that enable Merz Aesthetics’ business strategy.

Ms. Waller has more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical arena, leading IT teams to deliver and support strategic projects for the business, with focus on commercial, finance, compliance, and supply chain areas. Prior to joining Merz she led application teams at Salix Pharmaceuticals, Grifols and Nabi Pharmaceuticals shifting from her initial career in the medical field as a Microbiologist.

Ms. Waller holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University.
